Stories relating to individual pub awards, together with photos illustrating the quality of the toilets, appeared in the relevant regional and local press as well as pub and hospitality industry magazines.
Welcome Break – The Company launched its ‘Spend a Penny, Spare a Penny’ campaign at its service stations in order to raise money for BBC Children in Need. Stories appeared in regional daily and evening newspapers, as well as weekly newspapers, all of which covered the areas in which the service stations are located.
