Eddie Gershon trained as a journalist at the National Council for the Training of Journalists' College in Harlow, Essex. He worked on two weekly newspapers, the second as a senior reporter, before spending two years as a reporter at The Morning Advertiser, the drinks industry newspaper, which at the time was daily. He also wrote for a number of different publications on a freelance basis. In 1991 he set up Eddie Gershon Media Relations.

Ashley Weller worked as a press/pr officer for Premiership football team Tottenham Hotspur for 11 years after college. After leaving to pursue a freelance career in PR, she returned to work for the football team for a further two years before joining Eddie Gershon Media Relations in 2006.

Andy Burnyeat trained as a journalist at the National Council for the Training of Journalists' College in Sheffield. He worked on two weekly newspapers, the second as a senior reporter. He then spent two years as a reporter at The Morning Advertiser, the drinks industry newspaper, which at the time was daily. He then became news editor at The Publican magazine and later was deputy editor of Off Licence News. He joined Eddie Gershon Media Relations in 2003.
